Paris haute couture week is in full swing and things are getting more glamourous by the second.
Lupita Nyong'o, Leelee Sobieski, Grimes and Emily Blunt turned up to watch an extravagant Raf Simons show for Christian Dior, which took place in a greenhouse in the garden of the Musée Rodin. What better place to show off a collection that's a nod to Bosch's Garden Of The Earthly Delights, a painting, dating from around 1490 showing the beauty of nature, but with a tough medieval edge.
Models strode through the greenhouse, which had been hand-painted shimmering lilac and green - dressed in chainmail. Others wore sumptuous velvet trousers or floor-length tabards.
Gowns, proper gowns, not just dresses, mind, have puffed shoulder detailing, and there were cloaks, bell sleeves and beading, offset by pastel greens.
"I was intrigued by the idea of forbidden fruit, and what that meant now, the idea of purity and innocence versus luxury and decadence and how that is encapsulated by the idea of Dior's garden, Simons explained about his inspirations.
This makes our weekend garden party look rather tame.
Over at Atelier Versace couture, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley had us captivated in floor length black chiffon (look at those legs. No, we can?t stop either).
And the flower theme was in full force again, Donatella Verace had bedecked the runway with 25,000 fresh orchids. Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss and Lara Stone totally the catwalk.
Bell sleeves and raw-edge chiffon in pastels hues (dusky pinks, lilacs and blues) summoned up the 60s while the sound of The Doors played. Silk flower headbands added another hippy twist to the mix.
The Schiaparelli show was a chance for Bertrand Guyon to show off his debut work for the recently rejuvenated label, and it was nothing less than bold.
A plunging black gown with boxy jewel details around the neck stood next to a similarly plunging blue organza dress tied at the waist with a large bow. Did someone say 1940s?
Giambattista Valli showed off floral prints and sheer, structured ballerina-style tulle dressed covered in yet more flowers, magnificent, big blooms this time, stuck onto the fabric like corsages.
And Chanel was full of the A-list, Karl Lagerfeld created a casino for his guests to watch the show from, where the likes of Kristen Stewart, Rita Ora and Julianne Moore tried their luck.
Kendall Jenner wore hair in a sleek bob as a "military bride" - that's a white tuxedo with a veil to the likes of us.
What's next, Paris? We can't wait to find out. Until then, we'll be stocking up on florals.
